James J.
Quinlan was born in Queens, New York on March 16, 1953. Mr.
Quinlan graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in 1975 and from St. John’s Law School, where he was a
Notes and Comments Editor on the Law Review, He graduated with a
Juris Doctorate degree in 1978. He was admitted to the New York
Bar in 1979 and the Florida Bar in 2005. Mr. Quinlan has his own
corporate and commercial law practice in Tampa. Prior to opening
his office, Mr. Quinlan was the Managing Attorney for the Tampa
Office of Igler & Dougherty, PA, a Tallahassee firm specializing
in banking and securities law, among other areas. Mr. Quinlan
practiced with a number of corporate securities firms in New York
City and began his practice at the prestigious law firm of Skadden,
Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he was a corporate associate for
four years.
His practice
focuses on general corporate representation and transactions,
including public and private equity and debt security financings,
mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances
and venture capital financing, for both public and private
companies, investment banks and venture capital firms.
Mr.
Quinlan’s commercial practice includes reviewing, negotiating and
drafting contracts and agreements of all natures. He also
specializes in establishing, organizing and structuring
C-corporations, S-corporations, Partnerships and Limited Liability
Companies in Florida or elsewhere.
Mr. Quinlan
is a member of the New York Bar, the Florida Bar and the American
Bar Association. |
